My name is Hilary Sirio, I am a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, a neighbor, a member of this society. I feel incredibly fortunate to witness the beauty of nature surrounding me—lush green paths, the soothing waves of the beach, and the fresh air filling my lungs. Watching my two sons grow up healthy, alongside my nieces and the grandchildren of friends, fills me with hope for the future. I envision a world where the next generations can enjoy the same vibrant life, and this motivates me to advocate for change. It’s crucial to raise awareness about environmental issues, like saying no to straws, as we work toward a sustainable future. I believe there is still time to combat waste and preserve our oceans and all living beings. Together, we can create a conscious society that values and protects our planet for the children and all the living things of tomorrow.
